The Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique:
New hope for those suffering from allergies and sensitivities.
If you or someone you know can't be near cats... or dashes past perfume counters, downs antihistamines through ragweed season, or has had to ban certain cleaners from their homes, then N.A.E.T. (the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) may ease or eliminate the problem.
Allergy? Sensitivity? What's the difference?
Both allergies and sensitivies occur when a person has an adverse physical reaction to something that normally does not cause problems for most people. As an example, breaking out in hives or having an upset stomach upon eating strawberries is an allergic reaction or sensitivity. But someone who gets ill upon ingesting a known poison is not having an allergic reaction, because a poison is expected to cause problems. However, in conventional medical talk, an allergy is a series of very specific immune reactions that occur when the person is exposed to a particular substance. A sensitivity, on the other hand, can be a wide range of adverse reactions, and it can occur when the person is exposed to substances that don't usually cause a conventional allergic reaction. When most people say they are "allergic", they are really talking about being sensitive to a substance. N.A.E.T. uses the term "allergy" for any adverse reaction to something that others find harmless. What the founder of N.A.E.T. discovered was that these adverse reactions are accompanied by blockages in the energy flow along the body's meridians (the same ones used in acupuncture). Furthermore, Dr. Nambudripad discovered, these blockages are essentially a conditioned response which has "programmed" the body to react to these perfectly harmless substances as though they were harmful. N.A.E.T. uses a series of techniques to "clear the programming", and allow the previously allergic person to enjoy life free of allergies and their effects. Examples of allegies which are often greatly helped by N.A.E.T. include ragweed, mold, dust, colognes, and numerous others.
No shots, no pills
An N.A.E.T. session is thorough but pleasant. After taking the patient's medical history, applied kinesiology is used to evaluate the patient's allergic response to various substances. A customized treatment program is then crafted. Some clients may need only one or two sessions. Others, with multiple allergies or severe, long-standing allergic histories, may need quite a few more.
Treatment uses acupressure to reprogram the body's response to the various allergens. Afterwards, the patient is asked to avoid all contact with the allergen just treated, for up to 25 hours. Patients are then carefully re-checked to make sure they remain clear of a reaction to the specific allergen. In the case of substances where the reaction is severe or life-threatening, great caution is exercised.
