Ke Kino
Massage Clinic + School

Brendan Carr brings a grounded, compassionate approach to massage therapy—one shaped by his own journey of resilience, trauma recovery, and sobriety. A survivor of childhood abuse and now over five years sober, Brendan’s lived experience gives him a profound understanding of the healing potential of safe, ethical touch. Massage is a space for radical safety, vulnerability, and integration. His sessions honor both the emotional and structural dimensions of pain, offering clients a deepened connection to their bodies and their stories.
A graduate of the Young Stars Program (now known as the Bridge Program) and Ke Kino Massage School, Brendan is known for his expertise in working with the head, neck, and jaw—providing targeted relief for TMJ dysfunction, tension headaches, and chronic muscular holding patterns.
Brendan believes the body carries memory, emotion, and potential. Through thoughtful intake, customized treatment, and present-moment care, he helps clients access relief, resilience, and a renewed sense of embodiment.
Lived Experience & Client-Centered Care
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Brendan is attuned to the layered experiences of those navigating self-acceptance, religious trauma, and post-transition healing. His practice is a safe, affirming space for clients of all identities and backgrounds. He also brings valuable perspective to those in addiction recovery, offering connection and empathy rooted in his own path.
