Emily Dorsey
Instructor
LMT, MTI

Emily Dorsey is a skilled and deeply compassionate Massage Therapist specializing in transitional life stages—from pregnancy and postpartum recovery to fertility support, aging, and body image healing. Her work is rooted in empathy, informed by experience, and focused on creating spaces where clients feel safe, seen, and supported.
Emily’s path into bodywork began with her own healing. From an early age, she struggled with low self-esteem, negative body image, and a lack of nurturing touch. These challenges later deepened into an eating disorder and years of infertility, which she carried quietly, unaware that touch could be a gateway to emotional and physical healing.
Experiencing massage therapy firsthand was transformative—helping her reconnect with her body, rebuild self-trust, and reclaim her sense of wholeness. Becoming a Massage Therapist was both a professional calling and a personal reclamation.
Emily’s mission is to create healing experiences that reconnect people with their bodies. Whether easing the weight of new motherhood, guiding someone through body shame, or supporting aging clients through touch, she brings her clients back to a place of inner balance and trust—one session at a time.
Teaching & Leadership
In 2023, Emily joined the faculty at Ke Kino Institute of Healing as a Massage Therapy Instructor. She teaches Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Hydrotherapy, sharing not only technique but the deeper emotional intelligence of touch. Her teaching style is nurturing, clear, and empowering—helping students build confidence and presence in their own work.
