Ke Kino
Massage Clinic + School

For many massage therapists, the path after graduation can feel uncertain. Burnout is common. Too often, massage therapists leave the profession within just a few years—despite their passion and training.
At Ke Kino, we believe there’s a better way.
The Bridge to Practice program was created to fill the gap between becoming a licensed massage therapist and building a sustainable, meaningful career. This is a transformational experience designed to realign students with their calling and give them the tools to thrive.
What the Bridge Offers
• Weekly Training in Bodywork + Alignment
Students participate in weekly sessions that address both technique and internal alignment. These are designed to help students release blockages—physical, emotional, and energetic—so they can step fully into their work.
• Excitement as Compass
We ask: What excites you most? We trust that excitement is a clue—an internal signal of where you’re meant to go. Students are encouraged to follow that alignment with curiosity, courage, and skill.
• Advanced Training by Renowned Practitioners
Students learn Ke Kino’s signature Primary Barrier Technique, MET (Muscle Energy Technique), and receive instruction in craniosacral therapy, TMJ work, pelvic health, and myofascial release.
Instructors include:
– John James,Ke Kino’s CEO, teaching 8 weeks of deep bodywork and career alignment
– Marni Matyus, leading a 4-day immersive focused on healing through technique and embodiment
– Megan Prichard, a midwife and pelvic health expert
– Nguyen Ly & Darcy Nusbaum, master Muscle Energy Technique (MET) practitioners
• Professional Development & Board Prep
Students receive expert coaching and test preparation—Ke Kino has had nearly two years of 100% pass rates, compared to a state average of around 50%.
• Transformation, Inside and Out
More than technique, this program changes people. Every participant—including the teachers—emerges transformed.
This is where the next phase of your professional life begins.
